Sales restrictions

1.
What is the maximum number of tickets that I can purchase?
.1

For the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ you may purchase up to six (6) tickets per match up to a maximum of sixty (60) tickets across the entire FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ competition. However, there is also a household restriction of six (6) tickets per match. This means that if more than one person purchases tickets from the same postal address indicated on their ticket applications, together they can only purchase six (6) tickets per match. These rules apply whether you purchase Individual Match Tickets, Team Specific Tickets, Four-Stadiums Ticket series, or other ticket products. You may apply for a mixture of different ticket products, subject to the purchase limits. However, during the first sales phase, which is before the final draw, you cannot apply for ticket products that include matches scheduled on the same day. Ticket applications for matches scheduled on the same day will only be possible for some group matches, after the final draw, subject to compatibility rules to be communicated by FIFA Ticketing at FIFA.com/tickets in due course.
Each ticket applicant is solely responsible for ensuring that the above household restrictions are not exceeded.
Should FIFA detect, even after the purchase confirmation, any circumvention of the sales restrictions, the purchase may be terminated and all tickets allocated to the ticket applicant may be cancelled. According to the Online Ticket Terms of Sale for the General Public, if FIFA Ticketing cancels a ticket due to a breach of those Terms of Sale, the Terms of Use or the Stadium Code of Conduct by the ticket applicant or any guest of the ticket applicant, the ticket applicant shall not be entitled to a refund or any other form of compensation.

2.
Can I apply for tickets for more than one match per day?
.2

During Sales Phase (1), before the Final Draw, you cannot apply for different ticket products for the same match or for matches that will be played on the same day. Ticket applications for matches that will be played on the same day will only be possible for some group matches, after the Final Draw and subject to the compatibility rules to be confirmed by FIFA Ticketing on FIFA.com/tickets in due course.
For further updates on the compatibility rules for matches that will be played on the same day, please visit FIFA.com/tickets regularly.

3.
Can I submit mixed applications for different ticket products?
.3

You may apply for a mixture of different ticket products, subject to the purchase limits. However, during the first sales phase, which is before the final draw, you cannot apply for ticket products that include matches scheduled on the same day. Ticket applications for matches scheduled on the same day will only be possible for some group matches, after the final draw, subject to compatibility rules to be communicated by FIFA Ticketing at FIFA.com/tickets in due course.

4.
Can I be a guest and the main applicant of two different ticket application for the same match?
.4

No. Tickets cannot be purchased for the same match by the same person, whether a ticket applicant or a guest, by way of multiple applications.

5.
Why are there sales restrictions?
.5

In order to ensure that tickets are available to as many fans as possible and are therefore allocated in a fair manner, and to prevent unauthorised ticket resellers from accessing and reselling tickets, FIFA has established a limit on the number of tickets that any household can purchase per match and in total. This means that a ticket applicant and any other person living within the same household may only apply for such maximum number of tickets.

6.
What will happen if the sales restrictions are violated?
.6

If an application violates the sales restrictions, it may be rejected.
