How and when will I receive my tickets?

All successful applicants who have purchased tickets online on FIFA.com/tickets during Sales Phase (1), Sales Phase (2) and Last-Minute Sales Phases will have their tickets delivered as mobile tickets. To access them please download the free Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app on a compatible device.
iOS / Android (Any other mobile operating systems are not supported)
As of 17 October 2022, the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app is available for download on Apple Store and Google Play Store under the name “FIFA World Cup 2022™ Tickets”. The App is free of charge. Any other mobile operating systems are not supported, and ticket holders must be at least 16 years of age to register for the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app.
If you have an incompatible phone, please contact our Customer Support via the contact form. In addition, from 18 October 2022, customers already in Qatar can visit the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre (MTC) located at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), and from 30 October the Ticketing Centre (TCX) located in Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena (ABHA Arena in Al Sadd) for ticket purchases, customer service enquiries and mobile ticket supports. For customers arriving in Qatar and needing information about ticketing or support related to the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app and their respective tickets, customers can visit the Ticketing Service Point at the HIA Airport from 17 November 2022 (Hamad International Airport | P.O. Box 24659, Doha, State of Qatar).
Before going to the stadium, you should ensure that you have your mobile fully charged, your Bluetooth enabled (for Android OS in addition, please enable "Location Services" in "Privacy settings"), and your App notifications activated. Once you arrive at the stadium, open the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app. Your ticket will be activated via Bluetooth, no internet connection is required at this stage; then a QR code will be displayed on the mobile ticket. Finally, scan your mobile ticket at the entrance and make your way to your seat.
FIFA Ticketing will inform you once your mobile ticket(s) are ready to be downloaded.
Please note that, if you have a TST including second round matches, you will receive your tickets for these matches once the teams that will play at that round of the tournament will be known.

Once I have downloaded the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app, how can I access my ticket(s)?

Once the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app has been downloaded, here are the steps you should take to access your ticket(s) through the application:
  • Open the application and log in using your FIFA Ticketing account credentials. If you are not the main applicant and don’t have a FIFA Ticketing account, you will need to create one by using the email address to which the main ticket applicant will send you the ticket(s). 
  • Fill in the registration form and include your personal data. 
  • Confirm the email address entered by confirming its availability through the registration code that will be sent to your email address.
  • You are now logged in. You can always access your ticket(s) for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ from the burger menu on the top left corner of your screen by clicking on the section “My Tickets”.  
FIFA Ticketing will inform you once your mobile ticket(s) are ready to be downloaded.

As the main ticket applicant and ticket purchaser on the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ online ticketing portal on FIFA.com/tickets, you will receive all mobile tickets (even those intended for your guest(s)) on your Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app. Please note that ticket holders must be at least 16 years of age to register for the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app.
Guaranteeing that your guests have their tickets available in their own Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app is your responsibility. If needed, you can change the guest's names and send them their tickets through their Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app. Please note that, had you already sent tickets to a different guest, they will have to return the tickets to your phone before you can allocate them to a new guest.  

Note that, in the instance that you, as main applicant, keep your guest's tickets on your phone, they will have to access the stadium with you as a group. Please note that if a ticket is allocated in a different block of the stadium, then the ticket holder needs to scan his/her ticket on the respective gate to access the stadium. In this case, please consider sending the ticket to your guest before the match.

Please note that changing a guest that is entitled to receive an Accessibility Ticket is not permitted without FIFA’s prior written consent. Accessibility Tickets are approved by FIFA on an individual basis, based on the verification of the proof of eligibility (PoE). In such case, please contact our Customer Support via the contact form.

How can I send ticket(s) to my guest’s phone, or change guest information?

Once the mobile tickets are delivered to you on the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing application, you are able to change the guest’s names and send them through the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app.  To do so you need to use the "Send your ticket(s)" and "Change guest" functionalities within your Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app to help you assign your guest's mobile ticket. Please find below the difference between these two concepts: 
  • "Change guest" allows a ticket applicant to change the details of one of the guests he/she had previously submitted. Once this is done, the main applicant has two options: either keeping his/her guest(s) tickets for a given match on his/her mobile ticketing app or clicking on "Send your ticket(s)" to send the ticket to their guest(s). By doing so, the guest(s) will see the tickets assigned to them in their own Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app. 
  • As mentioned above, "Send your ticket(s)" means that the main applicant chooses to send the ticket(s) to their guest(s) for them to see them populated in their own Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app. The sending of tickets happens by inserting the guest(s) email address(es) used by the guest to register for the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app. 
Please note that once you are ready to access the stadium and should you have on your mobile ticketing app several tickets for a given match corresponding to you and your guests, you must enter the stadium altogether. If this is not possible, consider sending the tickets to your guests before the match.

Can I keep my guest’s ticket(s) on my phone? Can I change their details manually if one of my guest(s) can no longer attend a match?

Yes, you can keep your guest(s) tickets on your phone. However please note that once you are ready to access the stadium and should you have on your mobile ticketing app several tickets for a given match corresponding to you and your guests, you must enter the stadium together (if a ticket is allocated in a different block of the stadium, then the ticket holder needs to scan his/her ticket on the respective gate to access the stadium – in this case please consider sending the ticket to your guest before the match).

To change the details of a guest, please follow the steps below:  

•    Log in your account on the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app.
•    Click on "My Tickets" on the main menu to access your ticket(s).
•    Select the ticket for which you want to change the guest details.
•    Click on "Change Guest". 
•    You will be taken to a new page, please click again on “Change guest”. 
•    Enter your new guest's First Name and Last Name, specify the reason why you changed your guest and then click on "Save profile".

To access the tickets assigned to your guest(s), tap on the relevant match, and you will be able to swipe right to left through your available tickets.

Please note that Ticket holders must be at least 16 years of age to register for the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app.

How can I send mobile tickets to my guest(s)?

If there is more than one ticket for a given match on your FIFA ticketing account, you may keep one ticket for yourself and send some or all the others to particular guest(s). To proceed, please follow the steps detailed below:  
  • Log in to your account on the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app; once logged in, click on "My Tickets" on the main menu to access your ticket(s).  
  • Select the ticket you want to distribute to your guest and, below the ticket details, click on “Send your ticket(s)” and enter the email address of your guest.
  • As long as your guest has not downloaded the ticket(s), you will be able to see them in the "Ticket(s) sent - Pending" section of "Sent/received Ticket(s)" part of the main menu. At this stage, your guest has not yet accepted receiving the ticket(s), and, if needed, they will have the possibility to reject them. 
  • Until the guest accepts the ticket(s), you can also cancel the action in the "Ticket(s) sent - Pending" section.
  • Once the ticket has been successfully sent and downloaded/accepted by the guest, it will disappear from the main applicant's "Ticket(s) sent - Pending" section and appear in the "Ticket(s) sent - History" section. You as main applicant will receive notifications informing about the success of the sending. As of this moment, the main applicant cannot retrieve the tickets that have been sent to their guests. 
  • Having each ticket holder owning their ticket in their mobile ticketing app for a given match guarantees a smooth entrance into the stadium.

Guests who have not downloaded the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing appl will receive an email inviting them to download the app and create an account to access their tickets.

Guests who have already downloaded the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app and created an account will receive an email as well as a notification on the app.

Do my guests need to download the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app?

Yes. They must download the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing application by registering their account using the same email address to which the tickets have been sent by the main applicant. The guest(s) will receive a notification once the mobile ticket has been sent to them inviting them to download the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app, with further instructions on downloading it, registering their details, and accessing their mobile ticket. Please note that ticket holders must be at least 16 years of age to register for the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app.

If you want to keep all your guest's tickets on your mobile application app, then there is no need for them to download the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app. In this case you and your guest(s) will need to access the stadium at the same time as a group.

As the main ticket applicant, can I send my own ticket(s) to somebody else?

As main ticket applicant, you cannot send any tickets allocated to your use to a different person. You are only entitled to send the ticket(s) from your original guest(s) to another guest(s).
Suppose you cannot attend a match for which you have purchased tickets. In that case, you may submit all your tickets for resale on the FIFA Official Ticket Resale platform accessible through your FIFA ticketing account on FIFA.com/tickets. Please note that you may not resell your allocated ticket(s) while retaining any ticket(s) intended for your guest(s).

Can I allow one of my guests to become the main ticket applicant of my ticket application?

No, it is not possible. You (being the main ticket applicant and contracting party of the Ticket Terms of Sale) are not entitled to send the ticket(s) or change guest of ticket(s) allocated to yourself.
Suppose you are unable to attend the match for which you have purchased tickets. In that case, you may submit all of your tickets for possible resale on the FIFA Official Ticket Resale platform available through your FIFA ticketing account on FIFA.com/tickets.

I am a Team Specific Ticket package holder; can I have different guest(s) from match to match?

Yes, you can have a different guest(s) for each match included in your Team Specific Ticket package provided that you keep one ticket for yourself per match.

I am a Four-Stadium Ticket Serie holder; can I have different guest(s) from match to match?

Yes, you can have a different guest(s) for each match included in your Four-Stadium Ticket Serie provided that you keep one ticket for yourself per match.

Can I transfer my mobile tickets to my computer and print them?

No, your ticket(s) cannot be transferred to a computer and printed. Only mobile tickets are valid through your Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app.

Are my guests allowed to send their ticket to another guest? Are my guests allowed to change the name indicated in their tickets?

No. Under no circumstances guests are allowed to send tickets or change names indicated in their tickets. If your guests no longer need a ticket or they cannot attend a match, they must send back their tickets to you as the main ticket applicant.

Can I send an Accessibility Ticket to another guest or change the Accessibility Ticket holder?

No, the transfer of an Accessibility Ticket to another guest or the change of Accessibility Ticket holder is not allowed without FIFA's prior written consent. FIFA approves the purchase of Accessibility Tickets based on the verification of proof of eligibility (PoE). If you wish to transfer an Accessibility Ticket from one guest to another guest, you must contact FIFA Ticketing at FWC2022.enquiries@tickets.fifa.org.

I have sent a ticket to the wrong person/email address; can I cancel the sending of a ticket to a guest?

The main applicant can cancel only the sending of tickets that are still on pending status. To proceed, enter on the “Ticket(s) sent – pending” section of “Sent/received Ticket(s)” part of the main menu of your Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app account. 

However, once the ticket(s) has been successfully sent and downloaded by the other counterpart (the guest), the ticket(s) will disappear from this list and appear in the “History” section of the “Sent/received Ticket(s)” part of the main menu. Since this moment the sending can’t be cancelled.

What if the guest I sent a ticket to can no longer attend a match?

If a guest can no longer attend the match for which the ticket(s) refer, this guest can send the ticket(s) back to the main ticket applicant that sent the tickets to them in the first place. To do so, the guest must click on "Return ticket" and follow the application steps as indicated. Please note that guests cannot send their ticket(s) to any other person than the main ticket applicant that provided the ticket(s) to them.

Once the ticket(s) is back on the phone of the main ticket applicant, they can either "Change guest" to change the details of the ticket holder but keep the ticket(s) on his/her mobile phone or "Send your ticket(s)" to a new guest. If the tickets are sent to a new guest, the main ticket applicant does not need to change the ticket holder data(s) upfront. Once the new guest receives the ticket(s), and upon registering their account on the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app, the ticket holder data will be automatically updated. 

If the main applicant chooses not to send the ticket(s) to their guest(s) mobile phones. The main applicant will need to manually change the guest's details in the mobile ticketing app and, on the day of the match(es), they will have to enter the stadium together.

Can I take a screenshot of a mobile ticket and send it to a different person?

No, screenshots are not considered valid tickets and will not, under any circumstance, be accepted as a means of accessing a stadium.

What can I do if I have purchased tickets online, but I do not have a smartphone to access my mobile ticket(s)?

If you have purchased ticket(s) for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ online during one of the sales phases but you are not able to have access to the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app please contact our Customer Support via the contact form. Can I access the stadium with more than one mobile ticket for the same match on my phone?

Yes, if you are the main ticket applicant, you can access the stadium with more than one ticket on your Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app account for a given match, meaning that you have your ticket and your guest's ticket(s) on your phone. Please note that, in such a case, you and your guest(s) will need to enter the stadium as a group. However, we strongly encourage you to send the ticket to your guest's phone to facilitate your access to the stadium and avoid any inconvenience on matchday. Indeed, if a ticket is allocated in a different block of the stadium, then the ticket holder needs to scan his/her ticket on the respective gate to access the stadium. In this case, please consider sending the ticket to your guest before the match.  

If the identity of your guest(s) has not changed from the moment when you purchased the ticket(s) online, and should you wish to keep their ticket(s) on your mobile ticketing application, you do not need to do any step further. The identity of your guest(s) will be automatically displayed.

However, if the identity of any of your guest(s) has changed and should you wish to keep their ticket(s) on your mobile ticketing application, you must change their details to the ones of the new ticket holder. To change the details of a guest, please follow the steps below:  

•    Log in your account on the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app.
•    Click on "My Tickets" on the main menu to access your ticket(s).
•    Select the ticket for which you want to change the guest details.
•    Click on "Change Guest". 
•    You will be taken to a new page, please click again on “Change guest”. 
•    Enter your new guest's First Name and Last Name, specify the reason why you changed your guest and then click on "Save profile".

To access the tickets assigned to your guest(s), tap on the match concerned, and you will be able to swipe right to left through your available tickets.  

If you have more than one ticket for a given match, you must simultaneously enter the stadium with your guest(s).  Please note that if a ticket is allocated in a different block of the stadium, then the ticket holder needs to scan his/her ticket on the respective gate to access the stadium. In this case, please consider sending the ticket to your guest before the match.

How will tickets be delivered following a purchase through the Official FIFA Resale Platform?

All tickets purchased through the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform will be delivered as mobile tickets on the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app.

Can I buy tickets online and choose to collect them in Qatar?

No, there is no ticket collection for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. If you purchased tickets online on FIFA.com/tickets, you would receive your tickets as mobile tickets regardless of the ticket product that you have purchased.

I have a new smartphone; how can I access my ticket(s) on my new smartphone?

To access your ticket(s) on your new smartphone, you must first log out from your current smartphone using “Logout” at the bottom of the main menu. Once you have done this, install the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app on your new phone and log in with the same email and password you used on your previous smartphone.

If you know that your smartphone has been lost or stolen, please report any theft to the police and contact our Customer Support via the contact form. Is there any other information I should know to enter the venue as mobile ticket holder?

Yes, before going to the stadium, you should ensure that you have your mobile fully charged, your Bluetooth enabled (for Android OS in addition, please enable "Location Services" in "Privacy settings"), and your App notifications activated (no internet connection required). Once you arrive at the stadium, open the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app. Your ticket will be activated via Bluetooth connection, no internet connection is required at this stage; then a QR code will be displayed on the mobile ticket. Finally, scan your mobile ticket at the entrance and make your way to your seat. Enjoy the match!

How will over-the-counter ticket purchases be delivered during the Last-Minute sales phase?

All tickets purchased over the counter at the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre (Doha Exhibition & Convention Center – DECC) or at the Ticketing Centre (Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena - ABHA Arena in Al Sadd) during the Last-Minute sales phase will be delivered as paper tickets, in-person directly after completing the ticket application process and paying for tickets. Please treat your tickets with care and keep them safe at all times as duplicate tickets will not be issued.

Can I buy tickets online and choose to collect them over the counter at the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre or at the Ticketing Centre?

No, there is no ticket collection for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. If you purchased tickets online on FIFA.com/tickets, you would receive your tickets as mobile tickets regardless of the ticket product that you have purchased.
