If you or any of your guest(s) cannot attend a match, from 4 October 2022 and until the end of the tournament you can put some or all your tickets up for resale on the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform. Original ticket purchasers are able to resale ticket(s) through their FIFA Ticketing account, accessible at FIFA.com/tickets, subject to the applicable conditions stated in the General Public Ticket Resale Policy available at FIFA.com/tickets. The resale is possible up to the day and kick-off time of the respective match. Should you have purchased tickets over the counter at the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre (Doha Exhibition & Convention Center – DECC) or at the Ticketing Centre (Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena - ABHA Arena in Al Sadd), the original ticket purchaser will need to return the paper tickets to the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre or the Ticketing Centre in Doha, prior to being eligible for submission to the resale platform on FIFA.com/tickets through their FIFA Ticketing account, subject to the applicable conditions stated in the General Public Ticket Resale Policy available at FIFA.com/tickets.

If the ticket has not been successfully resold 20 minutes after the kick-off of the respective match, it will continue to be available for the original ticket purchaser own use in the same ticket format as it was originally purchased. For mobile tickets (i.e. tickets purchased online), the original ticket purchaser will be required to reassign unsold tickets to themselves and any guests via their FIFA ticketing account for the tickets to be available through the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing application. With respect to paper tickets (i.e. tickets purchased over the counter), the original ticket purchaser will need to attend the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre (Doha Exhibition & Convention Center – DECC) or the Ticketing Centre (Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena - ABHA Arena in Al Sadd) to obtain new paper tickets for the unsold tickets. This means that, particularly in cases where a ticket needs to be reissued as paper tickets, it may not be possible for the original ticket purchaser to use the ticket to enter the stadium.

That is why original ticket purchasers are strongly encouraged to withdraw a ticket from the resale platform in sufficient time prior to the respective match if he/she subsequently intends to retain the ticket for his own use. If the ticket(s) has been originally purchased online on FIFA.com/tickets, the original ticket purchaser will be required to reassign withdrawn tickets to themselves and any guests via his/her FIFA ticketing account. For ticket(s) originally purchased over the counter, the original ticket purchaser will need to attend the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre (Doha Exhibition & Convention Center – DECC) or the Ticketing Centre (Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena - ABHA Arena in Al Sadd) to obtain new paper tickets for the withdrawn tickets.

In such cases that a ticket is not resold on the resale platform or if a ticket is not withdrawn in sufficient time prior to the respective match for the ticket to grant access to the match stadium, the original ticket purchaser will not be entitled to a refund or any other form of compensation from FIFA Ticketing.

If the original ticket purchaser wishes to submit their own ticket to the resale platform, they must submit all other tickets purchased by them for the same match. Guests are not permitted to attend any matches without the original ticket purchaser. If not all of the tickets are successfully resold on the resale platform, you may still attend the given match.

Original ticket purchasers also had the opportunity to submit some or all their tickets up for resale on the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform during the first ticket resale period that took place from 2 August 2022 at 11:00 CEST / 12:00 (midday) Doha time to 16 August 2022 at 11:00 CEST / 12:00 (midday) Doha time. Tickets submitted to the Resale Platform that have not been successfully resold by 16 August 2022 at 11:00 CEST / 12:00 (midday) Doha time remain available to the original ticket purchaser in their ticketing account. To retain them for their own or their guests' use, they must reassign them again.

You may not, whether physically or online, offer for sale, sell, offer at auctions, give away or otherwise transfer or attempt to transfer, or engage a third party to facilitate or solicit offers for the transfer of tickets under any circumstances, including any use or attempted use of tickets for advertising, promotions, incentive programmes, sweepstakes, contests, giveaways or raffles or as part of hotel, flight, hospitality or travel packages, or other commercial purposes, except as expressly authorised in writing by FIFA Ticketing, or as permitted by the Ticket Terms of Use.  

Tickets that have been impermissibly transferred are not valid and may be cancelled at any time without notice. Any actual or attempted transfer of any tickets in violation of the Ticket Terms of Use may result in civil and criminal fines and penalties.

FIFA Ticketing restricts the transfer of tickets for reasons including: 

      (i)    Match security 

      (ii)    Consumer protection

      (iii)    Avoidance of counterfeit tickets

      (iv)    Protection of a fair pricing scheme

During the second ticket resale period, from 4 October 2022 till the day and kick-off time of the respective match, as original ticket purchaser you can make your ticket(s) available for resale through your FIFA Ticketing account, subject to the applicable conditions stated in the General Public Ticket Resale Policy available at FIFA.com/tickets, by following the steps detailed below: 

- Log in into your FIFA ticketing account at FIFA.com/tickets.

- Upon entering the ticketing platform, please click on your name displayed in the menu at the top of the page.

- Once you have entered “My homepage”, to access to the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform please click on “Tickets to resell” on the right-hand menu.

- Now you can make your ticket(s) available for resale, subject to the applicable conditions.

However, any tickets issued as paper tickets must first be returned to the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre (Doha Exhibition & Convention Center – DECC) or the Ticketing Centre (Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena - ABHA Arena in Al Sadd) in Doha, prior to being eligible for submission to the resale platform on FIFA.com/tickets through their FIFA Ticketing account, subject to the applicable conditions stated in the General Public Ticket Resale Policy available at FIFA.com/tickets. Then, you will be required to set up a ticketing account using the same email address that you provided to FIFA Ticketing when you purchased the ticket in order to submit the ticket to the resale platform. Should you subsequently intend to use a ticket that has been submitted to the resale platform (either because you have withdrawn the ticket or the ticket was not successfully resold), you will be required to attend the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre or the Ticketing Centre to have the ticket reissued as a paper ticket (for Accessibility Tickets, an original proof of eligibility will also be required at the time of reissuance).

- Upon entering the ticketing platform, please click on "Resale platform” displayed in the menu at the top of the page.

- Now you can purchase ticket(s) made available on the resale platform, subject to the applicable conditions.

Please note that the official FIFA ticketing portal FIFA.com/tickets is the exclusive online ticket sales channel for the general public.

No, only the main ticket applicant is permitted to resell a ticket. It means that if a guest is a holder of a ticket, the ticket (paper or mobile) will need to be returned to the main ticket applicant in case this guest cannot attend a match anymore.
 

Prior to the kick-off of the respective match, the original ticket purchaser may submit any number of Individual Match Tickets (IMTs) to the resale platform intended for guest(s) whilst retaining IMTs for their own use. If original ticket purchasers wish to submit their own IMTs to the resale platform, available at FIFA.com/tickets, they must submit all other IMTs purchased by them within the same ticket application, including all tickets purchased for their guests.

If not all of the tickets are successfully resold on the resale platform, the original ticket purchaser may attend the given match.

Prior to the kick-off of the respective match, the original ticket purchaser may submit individual tickets for group stage matches forming part of a Team Specific Ticket Series to the resale platform, available at FIFA.com/tickets. The original ticket purchaser may submit for resale any ticket for second round matches (knockout matches) forming part of a Team Specific Ticket Series only once the applicable tickets have been formally issued by FIFA Ticketing (i.e. after the specific match is known and has been assigned to the ticket).

Prior to the kick-off of the respective match, the original ticket purchaser may submit any of individual tickets (tickets for group stage matches and for second round matches) forming part of a Four-Stadium Ticket series to the resale platform, available at FIFA.com/tickets.

Prior to the kick-off of the respective match, the original ticket purchaser may submit any of the Supporter Tickets that have been purchased to the resale platform, available at FIFA.com/tickets. Conditional Supporter Tickets are not eligible for resale on the Resale Platform until such time as the relevant team has qualified for a specific round of the competition and the ticket for the relevant match has been formally issued by FIFA Ticketing to the original ticket purchaser. 

In accordance with the General Public Ticket Resale Policy, FIFA Ticketing establishes all ticket prices on the resale platform, which may be lower than or greater than the price paid for the ticket by the original ticket purchaser.

FIFA Ticketing will charge resale fee each to the original ticket purchaser and the resale ticket purchaser (if the tickets are successfully sold) :

- For the Original Ticket Purchaser, the Resale Fee is charged on a per Ticket basis and, for each Ticket sold on the Resale Platform, shall equal the greater of either two Qatari Riyals (2 QAR) or five percent (5%) of the Ticket face value paid by the Original Ticket Purchaser and the Resale Ticket Purchaser, respectively; and

- For the Resale Ticket Purchaser, the Resale Fee is charged on a total transactional basis and, shall equal the greater either two Qatari Riyals (2 QAR) or five percent (5%) of the aggregate purchase price (including fees) of all Tickets purchased by the Resale Ticket Purchaser for a given transaction.

In addition to the first ticket resale period that took place between 2 August 2022 and 16 August 2022, from 4 October 2022 till the end of the tournament on 18 December 2022, original ticket purchasers can access the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform by logging into their FIFA ticketing account, accessible at FIFA.com/tickets, to make Accessibility Tickets available for resale subject to the applicable conditions stated in the General Public Ticket Resale Policy available at FIFA.com/tickets.

Should you have purchased tickets over the counter at the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre (Doha Exhibition & Convention Center – DECC) or at the Ticketing Centre (Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena - ABHA Arena in Al Sadd), the original ticket purchaser will need to return the paper tickets to the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre or the Ticketing Centre in Doha, prior to being eligible for submission to the resale platform on FIFA.com/tickets through their FIFA Ticketing account, subject to the applicable conditions stated in the General Public Ticket Resale Policy available at FIFA.com/tickets.

Please note that if the Accessibility Ticket is successfully resold, the associated companion ticket (if applicable) will cease to exist. After tickets have been paid for, the proof of eligibility will be verified by a dedicated team. If the ticket(s) is successfully resold on the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform, FIFA Ticketing will issue the original ticket purchaser with a dedicated ticket resale confirmation stating that the ticket, and the original ticket purchaser’s right to use the ticket(s), have been cancelled. Other than the resale notification, no communication by FIFA Ticketing or any third party shall be deemed or construed as a confirmation to the original ticket purchaser of a ticket resale. An original ticket purchaser cannot cancel any successful resale of a ticket by FIFA Ticketing.

For Accessibility Tickets originally purchased over the counter, the original ticket purchaser will need to attend the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre (Doha Exhibition & Convention Center – DECC) or the Ticketing Centre (Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena - ABHA Arena in Al Sadd) to obtain new paper tickets for the withdrawn or unsold tickets (an original proof of eligibility will also be required at the time of reissuance).  

After a ticket(s) has been successfully resold, FIFA Ticketing will process a refund to the original ticket purchaser of the prescribed amount less the Resale Fee within thirty (30) working days following the end of the resale window and otherwise in accordance with the applicable Online Ticket Terms of Sale for General Public.

Please note that FIFA Ticketing will not process the refund to any other payment card. If FIFA Ticketing is unable to process the refund via the Ticket Applicant’s payment card, FIFA Ticketing will request that the Ticket Applicant provide their bank account details in order to process the refund via bank transfer.

Once you have successfully purchased a ticket on the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform, you will receive a ticket confirmation email from FIFA Ticketing stating that tickets have been allocated to you. The ticket confirmation email will specify the quantity of tickets or ticket products allocated and seating information.

All tickets purchased through the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform will be delivered as mobile tickets on the Official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app.

The original ticket purchaser may withdraw a ticket from the resale platform by selecting the applicable option in their ticketing account at any time prior to the ticket having been resold or until 20 minutes after the kick-off of the respective match. To do so, please follow the steps listed below:

- Visit the Resale Platform;

- Log-in to your Ticketing account;

- Click "My Tickets" from the menu on the right-hand side;

- Select "REMOVE FROM RESALE" next to the ticket(s) which you would like to take off the Resale Platform.

Please note that any tickets submitted for resale are automatically subjected to clearing of all guest's data, that is why if the ticket(s) has been withdrawn from the resale platform, the original ticket purchaser who originally purchased tickets online will be required to reassign any tickets to himself/herself and to guests for each match contained in his/her purchase. The tickets will not be delivered if they do not have ticket holder data. For ticket(s) originally purchased over the counter, the original ticket purchaser will need to attend the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre (Doha Exhibition & Convention Center – DECC) or the Ticketing Centre (Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena - ABHA Arena in Al Sadd) to obtain new paper tickets for the withdrawn tickets.

In addition, during the Last-Minute Sales Phase, tickets for the general public are available for purchase over-the-counter in Qatar at the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre (Doha Exhibition & Convention Center – DECC) from 18 October 2022 and at the Ticketing Centre (Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena - ABHA Arena in Al Sadd) from 30 October.
