1.
Which ticket categories are available for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™?
.1

There are five ticket categories for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™:

Category 1 is the highest priced, located in prime areas within the stadium.

Category 2 and Category 3 are seating areas within the stadium separate to the category 1 area.

Category 4 is a seating area within the stadium separate to the Category 1, Category 2 and Category 3 seating areas. This category is reserved exclusively for residents of Qatar* for online sales on FIFA.com/tickets.

Obstructed View Tickets are seats that have a restricted view of the pitch of up to 50%. Such Obstructed View tickets are sold over the counter at the FIFA Ticketing Centers in Doha and online at FIFA.com/tickets (subject to availability). They are sold at special discounted prices for each ticket category for the respective match. Obstructed View Tickets prices are informed in the ticketing section of the competition page, accessible via FIFA.com/tickets.

*A resident of Qatar refers to any individual legally residing on a permanent or temporary basis in Qatar, including Qatari nationals and nationals of other countries. This may include, for example, individuals who permanently live in Qatar or individuals who are legally authorised to work in Qatar. If you are a resident of Qatar, please make sure to declare this during the ticket application process. Proof of your Qatar residency may be required to purchase certain tickets. Additionally, in each stadium and for all matches, FIFA Ticketing is offering a dedicated allocation of tickets for purchase by disabled people and people with limited mobility.

There are four types of Accessibility Tickets:

-Wheelchair User:

Available to users of wheelchairs and mobility scooters designed for the transportation of disabled people and people with limited mobility. Please note that such users must bring their own manual or electric wheelchairs as they will not be provided at the stadium. Spectators with a Wheelchair User ticket will be permitted to enter the stadium with a manual or electric wheelchair or a mobility scooter. For safety and security reasons, manual or electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters need to fulfil certain basic requirements: they can have 3-4 wheels; the maximum dimensions are 80cm in width and 130cm in length; the maximum turning radius is 90cm; the maximum turning width is 150cm; and their maximum speed must not be above 6km/h.

-Easy Access Amenity:

This type of seat is available for disabled people or people with limited mobility who do not use wheelchairs but may be unable to bend their knees or need more room to access their seat, using a walking aid or crutches. Amenity seats also provide extra space for disabled people with assistance dogs. Whenever possible, these seats have minimal step access.

-Easy Access Standard:

Ticket for disabled people or people with limited mobility who do not need a wheelchair user place but require seating with minimal step access that is close to accessible amenities (e.g. accessible toilets).

-Easy Access Extra-Width:

Ticket for people (adult over 18 years of age) with a minimum body mass index (BMI) of 40kg/m².

-Sensory Rooms:

Sensory rooms will be available in 3 stadiums (Al Bayt Stadium, Lusail Stadium and Education City Stadium). Sensory rooms are for spectators with sensory access requirements who require a controlled sensory environment. This may benefit spectators who are intellectually disabled, autistic or who have a sensory processing disability, mental health issue or dementia. Wheelchair spaces are subject to availability due to stadium configuration and will be highlighted as a ticket category ‘Sensory Room Wheelchair User’ at point of application.

Successful applicants for Accessibility Tickets in the types “Wheelchair User”, “Easy Access Standard”, “Easy Access Amenity” and "Sensory Room" will be offered one additional ticket for free for a companion to assist and accompany them at the match. The companion must be able to provide all necessary assistance to the Accessibility Ticket holder. The companion will be seated as close as possible to the Accessibility Ticket holder; however, the exact location of the extra seat cannot be guaranteed. FIFA Ticketing cannot ensure that the seat for the companion will be immediately adjacent to that of the Accessibility Ticket holder.

Customers applying for Easy Access Extra Width Tickets are not entitled to request a complimentary ticket for a companion.

All Accessibility Ticket applicants may apply online using the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ ticketing portal during the specified sales phases. In addition, from 18 October 2022 they may visit the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre (Doha Exhibition & Convention Center – DECC), or visit the FIFA Ticketing Centre (Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena - ABHA Arena in Al Sadd) from 30 October to purchase Accessibility Tickets over the counter (subject to availability).

All customers applying for or purchasing Accessibility Tickets must provide proof of eligibility to prove that they are eligible to purchase them. Please make sure you can upload your proof of eligibility as you will be asked for it during the ticket application process. For online sales in FIFA.com/tickets, your eligibility will be verified by a dedicated team. For over the counter sales, your original proof of eligibility will be verified in real time by the ticketing staff.

Individual Match Tickets are offered in categories 1 to 4, as Obstructed View Tickets and in the Accessibility Tickets category; Supporter Tickets, Conditional Supporter Tickets, Team Specific Ticket Series and Four-Stadium Ticket Series (FSTs) are offered in categories 1 to 3 and in the Accessibility Tickets category (with the exception of the Sensory Room category which was available as Individual Match Tickets only).

What is an Obstructed View Ticket and how can I purchase it?
.2

Obstructed View Tickets are seats that have a restricted view of the pitch of up to 50%. Such Obstructed View tickets are sold over the counter at the FIFA Ticketing Centers in Doha and online at FIFA.com/tickets (subject to availability). They are sold at special discounted prices for each ticket category for the respective match. 3.
How does FIFA Ticketing decide which seats belong to which category?
.3

FIFA Ticketing determines the categorisation of each seat in the stadium on a match-by-match basis. This means that:
  • the ticket category may vary from match to match;
  • all ticket categories may include seats in different tiers of the stadium (such as upper and lower tiers);
  • the ticket categorisation remains unaffected by any conditions on matchday, such as weather conditions; and
  • ticket category boundaries may vary from match to match. Such differentiation is necessary to ensure that the maximum number of tickets can be made available to football fans.

Please note that any visual representations of Ticket Categories on the Ticketing Website or other sales material issued or approved by FIFA Ticketing, such as Stadium maps and illustrations, are for guidance purposes only and may not reflect the actual layout and boundaries of a particular Stadium.

4.
What is a category 4 ticket and how can I purchase one?
.4

Category 4 is a seating area within the stadium separate to the Category 1, Category 2 and Category 3 seating areas. This category is reserved exclusively for residents of Qatar for online sales on FIFA.com/tickets. A resident of Qatar refers to any individual legally residing on a permanent or temporary basis in Qatar, including Qatari nationals and nationals of other countries. This may include, for example, individuals who permanently live in Qatar or individuals who are legally authorised to work in Qatar. If you are a resident of Qatar, please make sure to declare this during the ticket application process. Proof of your Qatar residency may be required to purchase certain tickets.

5.
As resident of Qatar, can I apply for tickets in Category 4 for guest residing outside of Qatar?
.5

No. Category 4 is reserved exclusively for residents of Qatar for online sales on FIFA.com/tickets.
This means that, if you apply for Category 4 tickets online, only persons residing in Qatar can be designated as guests in your ticket application. Online on FIFA.com/tickets, persons who are not residents of Qatar can only apply, as main ticket applicants or guests, for Category 1, Category 2, Category 3 and Accessibility Tickets. Therefore, as main applicant, if you are resident of Qatar, you can have guests that are non-residents of Qatar for tickets in Category 1, Category 2 and Category 3.
Should FIFA Ticketing detect, even after the purchase confirmation, any circumvention of the sales restrictions, FIFA Ticketing reserves the right to cancel all tickets allocated to the ticket applicant. According to the Online Ticket Terms of Sale for the General Public, if FIFA Ticketing cancels a ticket due to a breach of those Terms of Sale, the Terms of Use or the Stadium Code of Conduct by the ticket applicant or any guest of the ticket applicant, the ticket applicant shall not be entitled to a refund or any other form of compensation. .

6.
Where are the different categories located in each of the stadiums of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™?
.6

Please refer to the stadium illustrations (available in the "Ticket categories" section of the ticketing page accessible via FIFA.com/tickets), to better understand the location of your ticket (subject to price category). Please note that the colours in the stadium map illustrate the areas in which seats of a certain ticket category may be located.

The colours used in the stadium maps are entirely unrelated to the colours indicated on your ticket and the stadium signage. The corresponding colours on your ticket and the stadium signage serve the sole purpose of directing spectators to the correct stadium entrance to support a smooth stadium operation on matchday.
