Entry to the stadium and seating

1.
Will I be informed about the location of my seat when I purchase a ticket?
.1

During Sales Phases (1) and (2), you selected the category of the required ticket which correspond to certain locations in the stadium (as shown in the stadium maps within the "Ticket categories" section of the ticketing page accessible via FIFA.com/tickets), but FIFA Ticketing will only assign you a specific seat within the chosen category at a later stage, closer to the event.
During Last-Minute Sales Phase, starting on 27 September 2022, seat location information will be provided during the purchase process. For over the counter sales at the FIFA Main Ticketing Centre (Doha Exhibition & Convention Center – DECC) and the Ticketing Centre (Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena - ABHA Arena in Al Sadd) in Doha, the ticket purchaser is responsible for checking the seats assigned via the public facing screen before payment of the tickets. The ticket purchasers need to confirm they accept the seats and terms and conditions by signing the ticket sales and collection receipt. Please note that seats cannot be chosen and are allocated according to the best available seat.

2.
What do I need to enter a stadium on matchday?
.2

To enter a stadium on matchday, you must always present a valid FIFA match ticket and your Hayya Card. The Hayya Card is your stadium access (along with your match ticket) and the entry permit to the State of Qatar for international ticketholders. It also provides free travel on public transport from 10 November to 23 December.
Attendees should also check the list of prohibited items on Qatar2022.qa before they go to the stadiums.
At the request of the Qatari authorities, all local and international fans attending FIFA World Cup 2022™ matches will need to apply for a Hayya Card. All international fans must also confirm their accommodation plans after purchasing their tickets in order to enter the State of Qatar and access the stadiums. 3.
Can I cancel my purchase and return my ticket(s) if I do not like the location of my seat or if I am not assigned a seat adjacent to my guests?
.3

No. FIFA Ticketing will endeavour to ensure, but cannot guarantee, that all seats assigned to tickets for a match which are issued within a successful ticket application will be located adjacent to one another. Seats assigned within the same ticket category may be located in different rows, sections or locations in the stadium. FIFA Ticketing gives no assurances that ticket applicants submitting separate successful ticket applications, or separate ticket requests for the same match made within the same ticket application, will be assigned seats adjacent to, or otherwise close to, one another.
Alternatively, if you have purchased tickets, and have received your ticket application number (that you can find in your FIFA Ticketing account or in the ticket confirmation you received by email after the successful payment of your tickets) you could inform this ticket application number to other ticket applicants who would wanted to be seated next to you.
In addition, please note the following conditions:
- Precondition to be seated together is that ticket applications contained the same matches, ticket products and categories.
- Depending on the sales period, residents of Qatar could only use a Group ID of other residents of Qatar. International customers could only use a Group ID of other international customers.

Please note that the Group ID functionality is not available anymore during the last-minute sales phase.
